On April 1, 2004, SafeTech, Ltd. joined many of the world's largest companies in supporting Students In Free Enterprise [SIFE].

SIFE is a nonprofit organization that, with help from businesses like SafeTech, gives college and university students the tools they need to learn the free enterprise system in a real working situation.

SafeTech is working directly with Dr. Jerry L. Chi, Associate Professor of Business Administration at Southwestern Adventist University, in Keene, Texas.

Jerry Liang Chi graduated from Taiwan Adventist College and received his MBA from Andrews University in 1991 and a Ph.D. in Management and Education Administration in 1995.  He also obtained another Ph.D. from Illinois State University in 1998.  Chi's experience includes being an Instructor at Taiwan Adventist University and also Illinois State University, and currently as Associate Professor and MBA Director of the Business Department at SWAU.  He has been a member of the Dallas Human Resource Association for three years and his current community activities include a leadership seminar and an external evaluation for Indiana State University.  Chi and his wife, Grace, have four children.

SafeTech, Ltd. is a technology integration company solving critical safety and security issues and is introducing their Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based SmartStart-HS helmet detection system for ATVs and related vehicles at the upcoming RFID World Conference later this month.
