SmartStart News

November 20, 2003

Wayne Newton of SafeTech, Ltd. is pleased to announce our consultation with Texas Instruments and Security Access Design Group, Mr. Jack Sigler owner.

Mr. Rick Heimann, also of Security Access, is an expert in the field of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and developed the Mobile Speedpass system while working for TI. RFID is a similar technology to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) which is used for anti-theft in retail stores.

After meeting today with Mr. Heimann and Mr. Sigler, both agree that with current RFID technology, SmartStart-HS will exceed the original design function allowing for future upgrades, while being economically produced.

Security Access has agreed to provide SmartStart with cost analysis, prototype design and prototype construction.
